One excellent system to use is an acid neutralizer, followed by a MangOX iron filter. The calcite neutralizer will correct the pH, and the iron filter will remove the iron.
MangOX is a media that utilizes an oxidation-reduction reaction and filtration process similar to Greensand, but with superior performance and durability. MangOX media also lasts a long time, typically 10+ years based on the amount of water used. These filters are fully automatic and use the reliable Fleck 7000 control valve along with the advanced Vortech inner distributor system which reduces backwash requirements by 30%.
The neutralizer filter comes with everything you need including the calcite media and simple instructions. Any plumber or person familiar with basic plumbing can install them and these neutralizers require little maintenance. Once a year, just add more calcite to the neutralizer tank. Most customers use 25 to 50 lbs a year.

MangOX Iron Filter 7000 1.5 Cubic Foot, 115 volt
MangOX contains 80% manganese dioxide in an extremely unique cluster format for enhanced performance and maximized capacity. Uses the Enpress tank with Vortech distributor which allows the MangOx media to be backwashed at lower flow rates with less water, saving water and energy. No need for other chemicals as will utilize the chlorination system as it’s oxidizer.
