For chlorinator systems, we recommend a J-Pro-22 pump with 40-gallon contact tank. The J-Pro-22 pump uses liquid chlorine bleach, and is very reliable, easy to install, and easy to use. The contact tank provides optimal contact time for the chlorine to disinfect your water; it also means you can use less chlorine, and be sure that the chlorine you inject is thoroughly mixed and dissolved in the water. And since the pump can be adjusted to get just the right amount of chlorine needed for your application, you can be sure that your water will be clean, but free of unwanted chlorine tastes.
Of course, using an auto backwash carbon filter and reverse osmosis water system in addition to the chlorinator will all but guarantee clean, tasty water. J-Pro-22 Chlorinator
For the carbon backwash filter and softener, we recommend a 2.0 cubic ft. carbon filter, and 2.0 cubic ft. water softener (also rated as 60k grain capacity). These would effectively soften your water and completely eliminate odors, iron, and manganese.
