Hello Darin,
Thank you for contacting us through our website. You wrote:
“How much resin do I need for a terminator iron filter? Is there a certain type to buy for this system?”
As far as how much you need goes, it depends on the size of tank that you have. What are the dimensions?
We would need to know the diameter of the tank and the height. Here’s a quick sizing chart. Based on the dimensions of the tank, you will know how much media and gravel you need to add to refill your system:

A Terminator Iron Filter could use one of two types of media- there’s the regular Terminator Iron Blend, and then also the Terminator Aqua Blend. Both types are listed here.
The difference between the two is that the Aqua Blend is used in cases where your pH is low. So if your raw well water pH is a little low, use the Aqua Blend. If the pH is pretty much neutral, then you can just use the standard Iron Blend.
