Hello Roy,
Thank you for emailing and providing your water analysis. A very effective way to remove the Iron, and occasional heavy Silts in conjunction with your existing pH Neutralizer, etc. is by implementing a Sediment backwash filter followed by an automatic backwashing MangOx Iron Filter.
MangOX is a media that utilizes an oxidation-reduction reaction and filtration process similar to Greensand, but with superior performance and durability. MangOX media also lasts a long time, typically 10+ years based on the amount of water used. These filters are fully automatic and use the reliable Fleck 7000 control valve along with the advanced Vortech inner distributor system which reduces backwash requirements by 30%.
The high purity natural mined Zeolite ChemSorb media filters and removes sediment down to 5 microns. Unlike filter cartridges that quickly become clogged and require frequent changes, the Backwash Sediment Filter automatically backwashes the sediment restoring water pressure. The media is easily changed and lasts for about 5 years.
The 1.5 cubic foot sizes would be best for a home with 2 bathrooms, but we do offer smaller and larger sizes as well.
Sediment Backwash Filter 7000 – 1.5 Cubic Foot Size
Excellent quality. Low maintenance. Unlike filter cartridges which can trap sediment and dirt causing pressure drop these systems automatically backwash out trapped sediment alleviating pressure drop.
1" or 3/4" pipe size with bypass valve included
10" x 54" tank; 1.5 cubic foot of media;
MangOX Iron and Manganese Filter 7000 - 1.5 Cubic Foot Size

MangOX is a media that utilizes an oxidation-reduction reaction and filtration process similar to Greensand, but at a much higher level of performance. Uses the Enpress tank with Vortech distributor which allows the MangOx media to be backwashed at lower flow rates with less water, saving water and energy.
